At The Animal Doctors of Orange County, caring for pets goes far beyond the walls of our hospitals. We believe veterinary medicine is not only about treating illness, but also about supporting the communities where pets and families live, grow, and thrive together.
Through partnerships, education, rescue support, and local events, we are proud to give back to the people and pets of Orange County.
Supporting Rescue & Foster Organizations
One of the most meaningful ways we give back is by supporting local rescue organizations that work tirelessly to help animals in need.
One of our team members has a long-standing relationship with CARMA (Compassionate Animal Rescue for Medical Aid). Dem has worked with CARMA for more than ten years and continues to support their mission through fostering. CARMA focuses on rescuing animals with medical needs who might otherwise struggle to find placement, including neonatal kittens, pregnant mothers, and animals requiring specialized care.
Through foster support, medical guidance, and community awareness, we are proud to play a role in helping these vulnerable pets get a second chance at life.

Supporting Families Who Adopt
We believe adoption is one of the most compassionate choices a family can make. To help support newly adopted pets as they transition into their forever homes, we offer six months of our Unlimited Exam Membership at no cost for dogs and cats adopted through a registered 501(c)(3) rescue organization.
Newly adopted pets often need wellness exams, vaccines, parasite prevention, and guidance as they adjust to their new environment. By offering this program, we hope to make it easier for adoptive families to access veterinary care and give their new companion the healthiest possible start.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Animal Care Professionals
Education is an important part of strengthening the future of veterinary medicine.
Our team regularly participates in career days at local elementary schools and high schools, introducing students to the world of veterinary medicine. These events allow young animal lovers to ask questions, learn about animal care, and explore the many career opportunities within the veterinary field.
By sharing our knowledge and experiences, we hope to inspire the next generation of veterinarians, technicians, and animal advocates.

Partnering with Local Pet Businesses
Strong communities are built through collaboration. We love working alongside other local pet-focused businesses that help keep animals happy and healthy.
We partner with local groomers, boarding facilities, pet stores, and pet service providers to help ensure pets receive well-rounded care. These partnerships allow us to share trusted resources with our clients while supporting small businesses throughout Orange County.
Working together helps create a network of professionals who all share the same goal: helping pets live healthier, happier lives.
Community Events & Pet Expos
Throughout the year, our team participates in local pet expos and community events where we connect with pet owners, answer questions, and provide helpful resources about pet health and wellness.
These events give us the opportunity to meet new families, share preventive care tips, and celebrate the incredible bond between people and their pets.

Helping Pets Find Their Way Home
One of our favorite community events was participating in Silverado Days, a local fair where our team helped create personalized pet ID tags for hundreds of pets.
Providing proper identification is one of the simplest and most effective ways to help lost pets return home quickly. By offering pet ID tags at community events, we hope to make it easier for families to reunite with their pets if they ever become separated.

Supporting Families Through Donation Drives
Caring for pets also means caring for the families who love them. That's why our team organized a community donation drive in partnership with Giving Children Hope in Buena Park and OC Animal Care to support both people and pets in need.
With the help of our generous clients and community members, we were proud to donate over 150 pounds of human food and more than 200 pounds of pet food to help families and shelters throughout Orange County. By supporting both human and pet food banks, we hope to help ensure that no family has to choose between feeding themselves and caring for their beloved pets.

Because they deserve it all.
